Fuzzy control of photovoltaic MPPT based on current perturbation

In order to improve the current fast tracking ability, a fuzzy control method of photovoltaic MPPT based on current perturbation is proposed. This method combines the current perturbation with the fuzzy control strategy and combines the perturbation method to change the perturbation step length. In this paper, a 10 kW PV model is established in MATLAB/Simulink, and compared with the traditional perturbation observation method. The experimental results show that the proposed maximum power tracking method gives the system good static and dynamic performance.
