Novel ring main unit state monitoring system

The invention discloses a novel ring main unit state monitoring system which comprises a temperature monitoring device, a general packet radio service (GPRS) module and a monitoring center. The temperature monitoring device collects contact temperature, ambient temperature and ambient humidity in a ring main unit in a real-time mode, and displays the contact temperature, the ambient temperature and the ambient humidity and alarms in a real-time mode, and data are transmitted to the monitoring center by the GPRS module through a GPRS network. The monitoring center can carry out statistical analysis to the data, prejudge faults and alarm timely, and accurately locate geographic position information of equipment which breaks down. The novel ring main unit state monitoring system provides reliable and timely bases for state overhaul, and accords with requirements of the a state grid company for construction of an intelligent power grid.
