A Case Study on the Use of Task-based Teaching Approach in College English

This article explores the use of task-based teaching approach in the teaching of college English writing with the means of textual analysis and interview in order to find out its feasibility and effectiveness in writing teaching.The findings reveal that the application of task-based teaching,to some extent,can inspire students’ enthusiasm and sense of participation,and meanwhile improve writing quality.Therefore,it is quite feasible and useful to employ task-based teaching approach in the teaching of college English writing
