The present invention relates to a method and a system for creating a waterside green area and evaluating performance thereof using a computer program. The present invention relates to a method for creating a waterside green area by using a waterside green area creation system in which a storage part stores a waterside green area creating model type according to a growth environment of a waterside green area, a planting standard according to the waterside green area creating model type and information about planting and maintenance costs according to a target year of the waterside green area to create in advance. The method of the present invention includes the steps of: (A) setting a growth environment of a waterside green area including a basin zone, a climate zone and an environmental gradient through an input part; (B) displaying a list including a creating model type of a waterside green area which can be set in the growth environment of a set waterside green area among creating model types of a waterside green area stored in the storage part on a monitor; (C) setting one of the creating model types of the waterside green area included in the list through the input part; (D) selecting a target year of the waterside green area to create as one of a short term, a middle term and a long term through the input part; and (E) outputting the pre-determined planting standard and the pre-determined planting and maintenance costs stored in the storage part on the monitor, according to the set waterside green area creating model type and the selected target year of the waterside green area.According to the present invention, provided is a method for creating a waterside green area and evaluating performance thereof using a computer program which can understand the waterside green area creating method easily and can grasp the value and the performance easily after creation, by systemizing essential basic information of waterside green area creation and performance valuation with a computer program.
