종이심을 사용한 16세기 후기 여자 단적고리 구성법

A study on the construction of the upper garment, Dangeogori, in the late 16th century based on the shrouds from excavated tomb of Mr. Yi, Yeung-Tae(1556~1586) is reported in this paper. This study is aimed at establishing a database for construction methods of the traditional Korean costume. The Dangeogori studied in this paper is a double-layered upper garment padded with Korean traditional papers, called HanJi; composed of six pieces. It has Mokdanmanchomoondan ornamental edging and collar, called Gk. padded with thin-layered cottons. A rectangular-shaped-and-folded gusset, called Moo, with purple flower patterned edge and a triangular-shaped gusset are linking at each armpit.
