Modeling of ZPW-2000A frequency-shift and pulse track circuit

ZPW-2000A frequency-shift and pulse track circuit is a novel type of track circuit used in high-speed rail stations. This track circuit signal is a superposition of FSK signal and pulse signal. In order to perfect the simulation of the superposition signal and describe the response in devices under pulse excitation accurately, this paper carry out broadband modeling of frequency-dependent devices in the system, such as transformers, inductors, cables and so on. Firstly, we get the frequency response matrix of the testing device by means of measurement or calculation. And then the modified matrix is obtained via the Vector Fitting Method, which leads to the equivalent RLC models that are stable and ready to be used in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
