The simulation of inventory systems: An overview

A survey of simulation techniques used in the modeling of in ventory systems was conducted. Six categories of use were formed. Research published in each of the categories was described. Observations were drawn in cases where research was sparse or where researchers seemed to have treated an er ror improperly.
