Study on the visual data mining for spatial information

Visual data mining for spatial information is a research hot in data mining area and it has an excellent application prospect.This paper firstly introduces the basic concepts of data mining and then brings out two kinds of classification systems in visual data mining-"Keim" classification system and "Card" classification system,the methods of visual data mining are introduced in detail.Finally,this paper gives out the approaches of combining visual data mining and spatial information research and discusses the methods of visual data mining for spatial information.
