The brittleness problem of power system with different wind power penetration based on cellular automata theory

In the wind power system, the instability of wind power increases the brittleness of the whole power system. So the cascading failure accidents in wind power system often occur in daily life. In order to build a cascading failure model which is consistent with the actual grid. This thesis is based on the theory of cellular automata and take the six-node power system as an example to build the cellular automata brittle model. Combined with the wind power and based on the conventional DC power flow calculation method, and a power flow algorithm is proposed. The brittleness excitation propagation path of six-node wind power system can be determined accurately and detailed through this algorithm. Finally, the fault propagation path affected by the wind farm was simulated. It is showed that it is very effective to use the cellular automata model to study the brittleness problem of wind power system.
