Calculation of Horizontal Wave Force and Wave Buoyance Acted on Circular-Sectioned Pier

The formulae for calculating the maximum horizontal wave force and the maxi-mum wave buoyance acted on a single circular - sectioned pier and their phases are derived froma simple method. It is suggested to carry on modification to relevant formulae in "Specificationsfor Seaport Hydrology".
