TIme and spectral optical aggregation for seamless flexible networks

Sub-wavelength switching solutions offer an efficient way of improving the use of network resources. Advantages and limitations are discussed and a new solution (TISA: TIme and Spectral optical Aggregation) is proposed that allows realizing transparent seamless flexible networks.
