Design of Simulation Test System for Corona Characteristics of Conductor Under Sandstorm Condition

In order to launch the study of the corona characteristics in northwestern China,which is in high altitude and sandstorm weather conditions,and to overcome the difficulties that the bad climate environment brings to the research,we designed a set of system for corona characteristics of conductor under sandstorm conditions.The basic parameters of the sandstorm were determined on the basis of the research for the local climate of northwest,and a air-line system for EHV corona cage,meeting the basic requirements of electromagnetic and fluid mechanics,was calculated by the theoretical analysis,calculation and the numerical simulation methods based on the k-e turbulence model by the means of Fluent,and a series of measuring systems for corona characteristics were included in the design.Under the premise of science and feasibility,the system is highly controllable and guarantees the practical situation at the same time.The results can lay the foundation for further development of studying corona characteristics of conductor under the sandstorm conditions,and provide a reference for the research of Sandstom Physics.
