Design of CMOS image capture system based on TMS320DM642

This paper examines the realization and application of DSP in video and image process.With TMS320DM642 as the core chip,and MT9T001 as its base,the image capture system of CMOS image sensor has a bright prospect for the application because of its simple design,reasonable price,and good quality image.This paper describes the work mode of TMS320DM642 video port and the image sensor,introduces the realization of the glueless interface through the raw capture mode of the video chip,and puts forward debugging methods for key parameters.After several trials,the capture can reach 45 fp/s when the resolution is 720×576.Facts have proved that this system is effective in image capture,with the characteristics of reasonable structure,flexible algorithm,and good image quality.
