Plackett‐Burman Designs

Plackett–Burman designs are important screening designs. In this article we explain how they can be constructed and how they can be classified according to projectivity of two-level designs. We give a reasonably exhaustive list of existing methods for analyzing them and illustrate one of these methods by an example. Some techniques useful for constructing designs with good projective properties for various experimental situations are described at the end.
