A Detection of DNA Fingerprint Using ImageProcessing Based on Medical Knowledge

A detection of DNA fingerprint is presented through the use of image processing based on medical knowledge. In this method, a DNA testing’s performer submits a DNA print to scan by a commercial program to find family inheritance relationship. The first step begins by converting the DNA print to binary code then reduces the size of binary image to be 45×26 pixels. For the next step, the DNA print is compared by the use of template matching to prove a matched position of DNA bar. In comparison, the DNA testing is based on the medical condition and regulation. In the experimental results for forty samples, the accuracy of human biological relationship is indicated at 95% of correction and 5% of no correction.
