Experimental investigation at 2300MHz with AWAS Electromagnetic code

Propagation Modelling is required to provide a reliable and efficient planning of cellular network. The present study reports the experimental data for seven base stations in dense urban regions of Western India. Path-loss exponents; mean errors and standard deviations of all the prediction methods such as COST-231 Hata; ECC-33 model; SUI Model and ITU-R (P.1411-1) were deduced. AWAS Electromagnetic Tool has been employed to compare the results of various WiMAX base stations of Western India in dense urban environment with empirical propagation models.
