Fuzzy logic based controller for induction motor drives

The paper presents a speed control system based on a fuzzy logic approach for an inverter-fed indirect vector-controlled induction motor drive. The analysis and design of the fuzzy logic is investigated. The integral of time by absolute error (ITAE) criterion is then used to evaluate the performance of the fuzzy speed controller for different operating conditions.
