Incorporating Spatial Information Into Optimal Binaural Noise Suppression Design for Hearing Aids

 Binaural noise suppression utilizes multiple microphones in a set of binaural hearing aids to improve noise suppression performance  Multichannel wiener filters (MWF) approach [1]  Produces a minimum-mean-square-error (MMSE) estimate of the target signal  Balances noise suppression and speech distortion for: SDW-MWF, MVDR, LCMV [1,2]  Assumes stationary signals  This study aims to improve the performance for both stationary and non-stationary signals by incorporating a priori spatial information  Assume (partial) knowledge f ATFs is available
