First experimental demonstration of real-time optical OFDMA PONs with colorless ONUs and adaptive DBA

End-to-end real-time 10.375 Gb/s optical OFDMA PONs with adaptive DBA and colorless ONUs utilizing RSOA intensity modulators are experimentally demonstrated, for the first time, in 26.4 km IMDD architectures. The identified minimum ONU wavelength spacing is 0.15 nm.
