Modified positive output Luo converters

The voltage lift technique is a popular method widely applied in electronic circuit design. Applying the voltage lift technique for DC-DC converters, we create a new series of DC-DC step-up (boost) converters namely modified positive output Luo-converters which eliminate the auxiliary switch in the original positive output Luo-converters yet perform the same functions. They are different from any other existing DC-DC step-up converters and possess many advantages including the high output voltage with smooth ripples. These converters have been successfully used in high voltage regulated power supply and can be used in other high voltage projects.
