Introduction to Avionics

By comparison, the 'modern' topics are treated in a very superficial manner. Voltage stability is discussed from a purely static perspective. Models and methods for computer-based simulation (the workhorse of stability analysis) are described in some detail in the last quarter of the book. However, the presentation is theoretical and applications are not discussed. In summary, I may occasionally refer to this book to find a simple way to explain a dynamic phenomenon to my students but I will encourage them to buy Power System Stability and Control by Prabha Kundur (McGraw Hill).
