Pattern Based Human-Machine System

Abstract The unclear knowledge on issues where logical structure is not known, and the closed word assumption fails, can be treated by pattern metaphor that reflects the brain representation of knowledge. Recognition of patterns is a man-machine interaction process best supported by those means that are close to the user’s practice. Visual representation of input and output have different requirements. The applications of different methods of graphic art are analyzed from the point of view of easy parallel data input and cognitive psychology of knowledge acquisition.
