Music Player System Based on SOPC

A Nios Ⅱ-based music playback system is proposed.The the audio files stored in the SD card are read and sent to the audio DAC circuit to play audio files through the Avalon bus.Based on the SOPC technology,hardware and software design are implemented using the NiosII soft-core processor.Hardware is mainly responsible for controlling the WM8731 and writing and debugging IP core in the the SD card so that it can be hung on the bus.Software is mainly responsible for reading audio files according to their sequential read operations of the SD card.
