Analysis and Disposal of a Gas Insulated Switchgear Accident

An accident of gas insulated switchgear was analyzed,and the bad quality of the rubber-board on CT surface in CT chamber was found the key factor causing this accident.Consequently,insulating paper was used to replace all the rubber-board in CT chamber to avoid the accident.Furthermore,the GIS manufacturer should enhance its quality control and detection for the components bought from other factories.
