Xerox Site Report: Four TREC-4 Tracks

Cet article presente les travaux de recherche mis en place par les centres de recherche Xerox concernant la recherche d'information sur les systemes de recherche. Plusieurs points sont developpes : une methodologie de recherche d'information developpee par l'addition de strategies combinees qui permet de mettre en evidence des schemas de classification separes est presentee ; grâce a une etude sur la recherche en langue espagnole, une analyse des effets des langages utilises sur les systemes de recherche est proposee en partant du systeme SMART ; et enfin, le probleme de l'interactivite et des interactions utilisateurs lors d'une recherche d'information sont etudies
