Application of mixed potential integral equation for cylindrically stratified structure

In this paper, a mixed potential integral equation (MPIE) for cylindrical stratified structure is used to analyze the resonant length of an axial oriented microstrip line mounted on a multilayered dielectric coated perfect electrically conducting (PEC) cylinder. The MPIE is solved with rooftop basis functions and with the help of the fast computational form of mixed potential Green's functions. The input impedance of the microstrip line mounted on a one-layer dielectric coated PEC cylinder is computed first and the resonant length of the microstrip line mounted on a double layer dielectric coated PEC cylinder is then studied.
