The Synergistic Design Methodology for Intelligent Transportation System

The design of intelligent transportation system requires systematic modeling approaches. This paper presents the approach of realizing UML (unified modeling language) -based multi-view integrated modeling using Rational Rose modeling tool including the description of function view, process view, information view, organization view, resource view and so on, and elucidates the process of multi-view integrated modeling using the typical examples in the design of transportation management information platform. The practical application demonstrates the necessity of multi-view integrated modeling methodology for the description of integrated system, which can effectively support the modeling activities and document organization in the design process of intelligent transportation system.
