Research and System Development of Civil Aircraft Maintenance BOM Based on Product Data Management(PDM)

A maintenance BOM creating method based on PDM is introduced,and corresponding aided system is presented.By integrating with PDM system,the maintenance BOM can exchange data between design and production data in consistency and real time.According to the PDM data of a certain type regional aircraft and the characteristic of line removable unit,the maintenance BOM is gained by a global searching algorithm.Application result shows that the maintenance BOM can meet the need of engineering practice.
