Design and Application of a Simple Intelligent Robot

This design has AT89C51 single chip microcomputer as the core of detection and control of the intelligent robot. It adopts an infrared photoelectric sensor to test black -line and obstacles on the road, it uses a metal sensor to detect iron sheets beneath the road, it applies a photoelectric code wheel to measure the distance and a photosensitive resistor to check and decide the location of the garage. It uses the PWM (Pulse -Width Modulation) technique to dynamically control the turning direction and speed of the electromotor. It realizes the accurate control over the intelligent robot's advancing, passing round and stopping, and also achieves the storage and display of detecting data through software programming.
