Service and Operation of GMPLS-Controlled Photonic Internet Exchanges

This paper presents a service and operational based study of a GMPLS-controlled photonic Internet exchange aiming at deployment in the Tokyo metropolitan area. This paper focuses on conceptual studies, namely the service and operation of a photonic Internet exchange, based on a series of experiments conducted over the last few years.
