Études postcoloniales et sciences sociales : pistes d’analyse pour un croisement théorique et épistémologique

Le present article porte sur les apports eventuels des etudes postcoloniales aux sciences sociales. L’objectif vise est de proposer des pistes de reflexion sur les formes pouvant etre adoptees par ce croisement theorique et epistemologique. A cet effet, deux objets d’etude en contexte non-occidental ont ete mobilises : la construction des categories identitaires (le cas de la categorie berbere) et la production intellectuelle (le cas de Syed Hussein Alatas). Au fil de nos analyses, nous puiserons dans les etudes postcoloniales pour suggerer leurs potentielles applications aux recherches en sciences sociales. Le but etant de degager quelques premices epistemologiques pour l’etude des societes du Sud.
