The OCV Solenoid Valve Simulation Test Platform

O74 solenoid valve is a key control element in VVT engine system, testing the electromagnetic performance index of OCV solenoid valve is an important subject in this field. In order to further understand the effects of structure of the solenoid valve on electromagnetic force of OCV solenoid valve, this paper analyzed the structure and working principle of OCV solenoid valve and established the OCV electromagnetic valve static and dynamic mathematic models. Finite element analysis software Ansoft Maxwell is used to carry out two-dimensional simulation of OCV solenoid valve for the output characteristics of electromagnetic force of OCV solenoid valve core under different types of parameters, which provides theoretical support for optimizing the structure of OCV solenoid valve. And considering the complexity and time-consuming of Ansoft Maxwell operation, this study used VB language to build software platform, which can effectively compensate for the lack of simulation function and efficiency of Ansoft Maxwell in electromagnetic characteristics such as electromagnetic force of solenoid valve.
