SER performance of opportunistic relaying with direct link using antenna selection

The opportunistic relaying scheme with antenna selection can eliminate the insufficient use of the channel resources and is a better alternative of MIMO systems [2]. In this proposed system, the best relay and best antenna is selected for communication. This research will analyze the SER (symbol error rate) performance of opportunistic relaying with best antenna selection at source in identical channels at different modulation schemes with different number of relays and antennas and it will also be observed that the increasing the number of antennas is a better alternative to increase the number of relays.
