A mild and efficient synthesis of α-tosylamino ketones from aryl aziridines in the presence of β-cyclodextrin and NBS in water

Abstract NBS has been utilized for the first time for the oxidative cleavage of aryl aziridines involving β-cyclodextrin–aziridine complexes in water to give the corresponding α-amino ketones in high yields.
