Intelligent control using fixed and adaptive models

The paper is concerned with the intelligent control of dynamical systems using multiple models, switching, and tuning. The manner in which the methodology is applied to control in fast time-varying environments is described, and the stability of one such method using fixed models and switching is proved for the time-invariant case.
