It is a high quality soft-cover first edition with the following threefold purpose: a reconstruction of the original Token Test , a standardization of the methodology, and evaluation of the processes underlying linguistic comprehension. In scholarly style, the authors develop a relevant historical overview, and present an extensive update of the behavioral literature. They explicate their position regarding some controversial problems, such as the nature of verbal instructions and manipulations of geometric forms vs real objects.
