Walter Kintsch is a famous psycholinguist of America. This paper introduces the forming process of his text-representation theory and its main viewpoints including different level of text representation, construction-integration mode of representation processing and effect of long-term working memory on text comprehension. A brief comment is also given to Kintsch's theory.
