Aplicações Semânticas Baseadas em Microformatos

Microformats have been introduced in order to provide semantics to web-published data. About eight years after their appearance and on the 7th anniversary of the creation of Microformats.org, a community that keeps up the standards, several applications were and continue to be implemented aiming to provide semantics to the internet based on microformats technology. The purpose of this paper is to describe some recent examples on how this technology can be applied in the context of Semantic Web.
