Application of LonWorks to Ethernet-based Building Control System

This paper discusses the design principle and realization method of network control system based on LON bus and Ethernet.On the basis of the intensive study of LonTalk Protocol and TCP/IP Protocol,Internet gateway of Ethernet-LON was designed for connecting Lon bus to Ethernet.The significance and realization method of the connection are discussed by analyzing field bus technology and Ethernet technology.Connection adaptor,an Internet gateway used for connecting Lon bus with Ethernet was designed and developed,thus integrating enterprises' information network into control network.
