Direct cooling type refrigerator using combustibility refrigerants

PURPOSE: A direct cooling type refrigerator is provided to achieve improved efficiency of refrigerating cycle by preventing leakage of combustible refrigerant and lowering of temperature of inlet side of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A direct cooling type refrigerator comprises a main body(11) having a heat insulation space with an open front surface; a door(13) hinge-coupled to the main body in such a manner that the door opens/shuts the open front surface of the main body; a barrier member(21) disposed in the main body in such a manner that the barrier member is attachable/detachable and divides the heat insulation space of the main body into a freezer compartment(14) and a refrigerating compartment(16); an evaporator including a freezer compartment evaporator part embedded into the top, both side and rear surfaces of the freezer compartment and a refrigerating compartment evaporator part communicated to the freezer compartment evaporator part and embedded into the wall of the refrigerating compartment; and a compressor for compressing the combustible refrigerant sucked from the evaporator.
