이중외피 개구부 운영모드에 따른 쾌적환기 특성 분석

Recently, the demand for high-rise building is increasing because it has a lot of economic advantages. However, the high-rise building has a problem using natural ventilation because of the strong outdoor wind velocity. Consequently, it causes high building energy load by using mechanical ventilation systems to maintain the comfort indoor condition. Double skin facade is commonly used as an alternative to make up for this weakness since it can mitigate the external effects on the indoor environment and increase the possibility of natural ventilation. This study focuses on the natural ventilation performance of the double skin facade system depending on the position of outer and inner facade openings and size of them. The cavity of the double skin facade preheats the air and it can cause the undesirable indoor temperature increase in the cooling season. It will be much more beneficial to maintain the inducing air temperature low in the cooling season to reduce the cooling load. To optimize the comfort ventilation performance of double facade system, it is necessary to establish appropriate operation mode of openings depending on the outdoor temperature. This study analyzes the possible period comfort ventilation depending on the different window opening operation mode.
