Zoom-thresholding technique for boundary determination

A new technique for automatic determination of object boundaries in image processing is proposed. This approach is based on the zoom-thresholding technique which determines the optimal threshold for the fuzzy boundary of an object. The optimization process is accomplished by minimizing a performance criterion.
