Research on resource-competence model of research team in university and its application

Research team of university(RTU) is the important actor of science and technology innovation.According to organizational capability theory and competency model,this paper analyzed the essential elements of resource and competence of RTU,and then established its resource-competence model.Through the questionnaire to some key university in China,the paper verified and improved the model.Then the paper discussed the application of the model in RTU management from both macro and micro perspectives,proposed EPD cycle improvement method,and showed the feasibility of the method in evaluating,diagnosing and improving the resource and competence of RTU using a case.
