In this paper, a designing theory and method of cryptogrammic chip based on the reconfigurable architecture is brought forward to improve the security of encryption that is based on the algorithms in existence.Using this method, user can change the inner structure of circuit to match different cipher algorithms that can be implemented on the same cipher chip by programming.This design has been tested successfully on the Altera's APEX20KE FPGA. The function and the performance reached the anticipative demand.The result shows that this important idea which based on reconfigurable architecture can impove the security and flexibility of cipher chip design effectively.
