Protein Synthesis in the Irradiated Intestine of the Mouse

Protein synthesis in the irradiated intestine of the mouse was studied. C/sup 14/ labeled leucine was used for radiochemical investigations and H/sup 3/ leucine for autoradiographic studies. No reduction in tracer uptake was found during the first day after irradiation, with doses up to 2500 rad, in any of the cells and cell components studied. (auth)
