At present, digital domain signal modulation mainly uses digital orthogonal frequency conversion technology. Digital frequency conversion technology is one of the core technologies of digital radar, electronic countermeasures, software radio and other technologies. The sine and cosine local oscillator signals in a modulation system are very important for digital up-conversion systems. Therefore, the design of high-performance NCO becomes a design difficulty of the modulation system. This paper proposes an NCO design based on the CORDIC algorithm in a 16-bit 12GSPS DAC.
