The BEE SME Program is aimed at improving Energy Efficiency of Small and Medium Enterprises by technological interventions in the various clusters of India. The Energy Intensity in SME is intended to be enhanced by helping these industries in the mostly energy intensive cluster units identified 29 SME clusters of India to through improve Energy efficiency and performance through technology interventions and also develop the consistent steps for successful implementation of energy efficiency measures and projects in the cluster units and also financial planning for the SME owners. The paper also aims at creating a platform for dissemination of best practices and best available technologies in the market for energy efficiency and conservation and to create awareness among cluster unit owners and also the demonstration projects may stimulate adoption of successful/available technologies.
