A Survey of Evolutionary Game Theory on Complex Networks

In this paper,we survey the latest developments on the topic that how the structures of complex networks affects the evolutionary game dynamics. We study the selection and evolution of individuals' strategies with interactions and conflicts to understand the emergence of cooperation among selfish individuals. We focus on the prisoner's dilemma and snowdrift game as two simple models that have attracted wide attentions.By characterizing the contacts among individuals through complex network connections,we present the relation between spatial structures and game dynamics. And future directions of the research are pointed out.
