Modélisation d'objets mobiles pour les systèmes d'information géolocalisés itinérants en temps réel

Convergence of development in the wireless communication field, evolution of positioning systems and geographic information systems (GIS) have given rise to a new type of applications and services related to mobility and localization. However, the current information systems do not deal with the management of information concerning the mobile objects. This article initially proposes a mobile object data model, which constitutes a framework for the development of location based applications and services. We define, in this extended object model, a powerful set of data types and operations able to handle mobile objects; and which will be necessary to define a new query language of mobile data based on SQL 3. Furthermore, architecture and object oriented modeling with UML 2 are developed for real time location based mobile information systems.
