A Modern, IoT Platform for Medical Engineering: Vein Visualization

A modern, IoT platform for medical engineering is presented with a case of vein visualization. We consider a low-cost, yet effective and efficient platform such as Raspberry Pi for this purpose. This paper presents the system structure, its specification, and a observational result (i.e. a comperison among pictures) with some conventional devices and open sourse technologies such as the LED module, the CCD camera, and OpenCV.
